Rocky Mountain News: Denver lands DNC:

Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean today chose Denver to host the Democrats' convention over New York City, putting a victorious cap on an 11-month drive by city boosters to put Denver on center stage in the next presidential election.

It will be interesting to see if this helps the Democrats here in CO in 2008. I, for one though, will make sure that I am out of town then.
