USC study: "Celebrities Really Are More Narcissistic Than the General Public" comes to a conclusion that is not the least bit surprising, esp. in view of all those magazines like People and the National Enquirer. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the coincidence last night of watching bits and pieces of the move "Beaches" starring Bette Midler as a "brassy, Jewish, Bronx-bred singer" whose life is so melodramatic, that her mother moves away to Florida because Midler's melodramtic life is so exhausting to live around.
