Udall: Cut and Run Udall: Cut and Run
My representative, Mark Udall, is pushing a cut-and-run option in Iraq in a Rocky Mountain News article enttiled: Bipartisan effort needed to carefully redeploy U.S. troops away from Iraq. Yes, it sounds almost plausible, that we should give the Iraqis a firm timetable and then redploy our troops. But of course, "redeployment" is cutting-and-running. Never mind that this would give our enemies exactly the wrong message - that all they need to do is hang on until then, and then we will leave. In short, it would embolden them.
But what should we expect from a representative who primarily represents the PRB (People's Republic of Boulder), and now me, thanks to the recent (unconstitutional) Gerrymander by the Democratic dominated Colorado Supreme Court?
